The Opportunity This locum role sits within a well-established O&G department, offering broad exposure across labour ward, antenatal and postnatal care, emergency presentations and gynaecology work. You'll work closely with registrars, consultants, midwives and nursing staff in a supportive, teaching-focused environment. Ideal for SRMOs looking to: Strengthen O&G skills in a high-volume metro setting Build experience relevant to future training applications Secure a consistent locum block with a defined term structure Roster Details The roster is arranged and provided directly by the department and includes: Day shifts: Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1630 Evening shifts: Weekdays, 1630 - 2130 Night shifts: 2130 - 0800 Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain Hands-on exposure across obstetrics and gynaecology Experience in a busy labour ward and acute O&G presentations Strong supervision and support from registrars and consultants Collaborative team culture with experienced midwifery staff Structured metropolitan hospital workflow and systems Eligibility Criteria Current AHPRA General Registration NSW Working with Children Check & National Police Check Australian working rights Willingness to complete NSW Health credentialing requirement Please note: This role is suited to Sydney-based locums only , as travel and accommodation are not provided.
